A short e-bike ride to a nice 4.2 mile hike around Monarch Lake. Monarch Lake is an amazing Trout lake, limit 2, artificial flys and lures only. From the dam, you could see a half dozen nice sized trout in view in clear water. Unfortunately my fishing license had expired the prior day.
